Not Specific to MPS Type. False Negatives: Some mild forms of MPS or certain MPS types may have normal or near-normal urine GAG levels, leading to false negatives. Other Conditions: Certain other conditions can sometimes cause mild increases in urine GAGs, which can lead to false positives.
